Roosevelt Island Operating Corporation (RIOC) has announced that they have finalized the Riverwalk neighborhood with developers. RIOC CEO Shelton Haynes “The plan is to build a bustling new community on the waterfront right at East 60th Street, stepping up housing and commercial space ranging in size from studios for single people to three-family dwellings for families.” Some of the new buildings will replace the old locations that are currently there.
