Yves Mirabaud

 

Yves Mirabaud is the President of the Geneva Financial Centre Foundation. For over thirty years, Mr. Mirabaud has been a successful entrepreneur and investment banker. He is the co-founder and managing partner of Mirabaud & Cie, an international private bank headquartered in Geneva.

Yves Mirabaud was born in Geneva in 1953. He attended the Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz in Switzerland and graduated from the University of Geneva with a degree in economics. Mr. Mirabaud began his career as a trainee at Lombard Odier & Cie, one of Switzerland’s oldest private banks. He later worked for several years at White Weld & Co in New York and London. In 1985, with Philippe Piguet, Yves Mirabaud co-founded Mirabaud & Cie.

After a successful career in banking, Yves Mirabaud turned his attention to philanthropy and public service. He is the President of the Geneva Financial Centre Foundation, which promotes the development of the financial services sector in Geneva. Mr. Mirabaud is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Geneva Association, a leading think tank on global insurance issues.
